Genesis 39:3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand. Potiphar could actually see the Lord was with Joseph. Joseph was just a slave but the Lord was with him. Joseph exhibited the outward manisfestion of God's blessing because the Bible says "LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand". The Bible goes on to say - Genesis 39:4-6 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured. Do people see the Lord in us? Do we exhibit the traits of Joseph? Remember he was just a slave but Potiphar saw something special in Joseph. People today, like Potiphar, are looking for Christians that are true and who actually manifest the blessing of God. They are more than willing to put us in charge. Joseph's main focus was God and this evidently led to him becoming 2nd in charge. Let's be like Joseph and show the world the God we serve! |
We will be posting different articles by the people of L.I.F.E. Church and Training Center. We are sure they will be a blessing and a challenge to go higher!

What Do People See When They Look At You?

You Are Given Everything You Need To Live

One of my favorite verses (and I have many) J is Isaiah 54:17.
Is says in the KJV, “No weapon formed against thee shall prosper and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”
The AMP version states, “But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This (peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition) is the heritage of the servant of the Lord (those in whom the Servant of the Lord is reproduced); this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me (this is that which I impart to them as their justification), says the Lord."
We live in a fallen world. That means that even though God had originally intended it to be for mankind to dominate and rule, it was given over to satan when man fell in the garden. As a result, unless you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you are subject to satan’s rule here on the earth.

As a believer in Christ you are given everything you need to live and overcome in this fallen world. Everything satan has to offer is through deception, but Jesus beat deception and showed us how to do the same. That excites me!!
So what are weapons that are formed against us? Sickness and disease, unforgiveness, depression, debt, strife, lust, pride, etc. are all weapons satan uses to bring you down and cause you to draw away from God.

The tongues that rise up against you are those that say things like…you will never get out of this situation, you only have 3 months to live, certain things in the Word of God don’t apply today, you are worthless, you are never going to amount to anything, etc.
But, you know what? If you read that verse carefully it says those weapons will not prosper and you will prove those wrong who speak against you!
Isn’t that Good News??
I want to encourage you that the SECOND something comes against you, let’s just say a cold for instance, you recognize that it is not from God and you use the Word against it, just as Jesus did when He was tempted of the devil. I actually use this verse and say: “No weapon of sickness formed against me shall prosper because I am a saint of God and am under His covenant of healing, for that is my heritage!” Guess what? It leaves immediately!! Praise the Lord!
Find the promises of God and write them down, study them and hide them away in your heart so that when the storms of life and the affairs of this world come against you, you will have a foundation to stand upon and to fight with.
Have a Great Day in Him!

Women's Bible Study For Chapter 3
Our Covenant with God
Part 3 of 6
Reading Assignment: Our Covenant with God, Chapter 3, “The Curse of the Law”
Memory Verse: “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us it is written. Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:13-14
MP3 Teaching: The Forgotten Weapon – Darlene Bishop, Solid Rock Church, Part 5 and 6
The Blood Speaks – Pastor Sam Hinn, Part 1
Declaration: I choose to believe the Word of God. I will not harden my heart to unbelief, but mix faith with His Word and receive the promises of my inheritance. Because of blood covenant, I abide and prosper under the Blessing. My Heavenly Father, keeps His Word and will not break his covenant with me. Jesus became the curse for me, therefore under the new covenant no curses can come near me, my marriage, my children, my health, my finances, my ____________. No weapon of the enemy will prosper against me, because I overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of my testimony.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
From the Lecture
What does “covenant” mean?
Explain Ephesians 2:11-13 and how that affects us in this world.
What key role does “unbelief” play in receiving the promises within our covenant?
What do the birds of prey represent in Genesis 15:11? What buzzards are swooping in on your covenant?
Name some similarities between ancient covenant practices, covenant with God through Jesus Christ and marriage covenant?
Explain the word Hesed.
What did you learn from the MP3 teaching?
From the Reading
1) Under the Abrahamic Covenant, if a man refused to obey the law that would bring the blessing what was the result?
2) Since, Satan was already cast down before man actually fell, we can determine that the curse was already present, but why did it not prosper against mankind?
3) What does Joshua tell us about “standing in the middle” in Joshua 24:15?
4) What did God tell Abraham to do in Genesis 17:1 which would guarantee protection from the curses?
5) List the things which fell under the curse in Deuteronomy 28:15-68.
Personal Reflection
Can you relate to any of the curses mentioned in Deuteronomy 28:15-19? Do you see any of them prospering in your life? Mention them below.
Good News!! Reread our memory verse, Galatians 3:13-14, and ask the Spirit to give you revelation of it. Declare it, and keep declaring it to yourself, your situation and the devil that this curse can no longer prosper against you, because Jesus became the curse for you! Hallelujah!!!!
